Season Session 1

The unofficial start of the regional racing scene kicked off with Ommegangsters representing at the Tour of Battenkill Road Race and Dryer Road MTB event.

Skinny Phil, Yaco, Moore Dave and The Plan toed the line at Battenkill in their respective divisions this past Saturday.  Race reviews seemed all positive with some good results for a supah hahd early season race.  Skinny with a 14th and Yaco a stellar 5th in a big field, The Plan a 15th in a 100 plus field and a great 18th for a debut for Moore Dave.

Sunday saw Ommegangsters Paul S and The Haight join the fat tire scene out towards Rochester for the inagural Dryer Road MTB race.   Yougnster Paul reported he finished mid-pack with his division while The Haight finsihed 12th in his batch of mudders.  Venue was a smallish park but good trails and overall a decent event.

Congrats to all ,, great to see you out flying the Omme colors.

It's Gonna be a Great Year ....

"The Tripel is among the most popular of Belgian ales.  Brewed with simple ingredients and fierce attention, there is little room for error, but plenty of opportunity.  Perfection isn't easily achieved - but once achieved it's always memorable."  Ommegang Tripel Perfection weighs in at 8.6%, right in the range that was predicted in their release mentioned earlier.  This limited edition seasonal ale will be packaged in 750ml bottles.
