Yet again the wind made it's presence felt this weekend at the TVC Binghamton Circuit Race on Saturday. For the Ommegangsters that had a few miles on the course from previous editions, they quickly realised that the wind was different this go-round -- it was more of a southeasterly wind than the usual west wind. Rather than the usual strength sapping headwind along the bottom straight, this year it was in your face at the top straight and pushing you around on the decent down around the corner as you headed into the bottom straight. The weather however was it's typical schizophrenic self with a little rain, almost some sun, more clouds and so forth throughout the various events.
For the Ommegangsters, there seems that there was representation in all the men's fields (with the exception of the juniors -- umm yes, a brewery sponsor & juniors probably not a good idea to mix the two). Results wise it was a pretty decent day with a few guys making the podium (first podium for Dave M?) in their respective divisions and definitely some notable placings (like the 'gangsters in the Cat 1/2/3 field).

Hollenbeck's on deck.
