Attack 1: Quabbin Resevoir Classic -- Dan the Plan w/a top 10 in a 70+ field of Masters 45+.
Attack 2: Ramble around Prattsburgh -- A couple of Ommegansters trying the (semi) off road deal. Paul S w/a podium spot and the Haight w/a top 10 in their respective age groups and both posting top 25 spots overall out of a 90+ person field.
Attack 3: Binghamton Circuit Race: Ommegansters galore in Bingo town. And We have a winner -- Turbo take top spot in the 35+ Masters and AJ F also on the podium in 2nd spot. Eric the Bolt with a podium spot in the 3/4 race with decent showings by D Yaco, Skinny Phil, Rooster and Cory P w/the 3/4's. Another podium for the #2 spot by Eric K in the "4" race" with Yaco & Rooster also in the top 10. The "4" event also featured Skinny Phil, diaper duty Mike, K, and Cory P flying the Omme colors. The two "5" races included top 10's by Craig N, Jeremy Hey-sus K with Craig N on the podium for the second "5" race. The "5" races also included Fast Freddie (who got crashed but toughed out a finish), Mighty D Moore, and the Razor Ray W all gaining a taste of the Bingo circuit race action.
Congrats gents ... let's kep the momentun & podium spots a coming.

See, We Knew We Were Good ....
Well, since we more or less consider ourselves a part of the Brewery Ommegang family, and they just won a gold & two silvers at the 2010 World Beer Cup, we have confirmation that we are good. Abbey Ale took a gold and Witte and Bier de Mars took silvers. Woo hoo ....

Season Session 1
The unofficial start of the regional racing scene kicked off with Ommegangsters representing at the Tour of Battenkill Road Race and Dryer Road MTB event.
Skinny Phil, Yaco, Moore Dave and The Plan toed the line at Battenkill in their respective divisions this past Saturday. Race reviews seemed all positive with some good results for a supah hahd early season race. Skinny with a 14th and Yaco a stellar 5th in a big field, The Plan a 15th in a 100 plus field and a great 18th for a debut for Moore Dave.
Sunday saw Ommegangsters Paul S and The Haight join the fat tire scene out towards Rochester for the inagural Dryer Road MTB race. Yougnster Paul reported he finished mid-pack with his division while The Haight finsihed 12th in his batch of mudders. Venue was a smallish park but good trails and overall a decent event.
Congrats to all ,, great to see you out flying the Omme colors.
