Yes it's Friday but it's Beer Week. So here's a real quick recap of this past weekend which found some Ommegangsters at the NYCross series event Wicked Creepy CX in Bennington, VT while others headed west to Ellison Park CX in Rochester.
Wicked Creepy: Jeff W managed a second place in a tough Masters field and Skinny Phil managed a top 10 in a 30+ cat 3/4 field. Skinny maintains 3rd spot overall in his division in the NYCross series while Jeff's consistency has him in first for the 45+ masters series. (Jeff;s lovely wife also has the Elite Womens lead in the NYCross series.)
Ellision Park; Drumroll, Jeremy K & Gordon S all went west. Drumroll overcame a poor first lap to climb back into a second place finish in the guys 40+ while Jeremy & Gordon raced the huge & stacked open mens race. In this field of 70 finishers, Gordon manged the top half while Jeremy rolled in a few spots behind Gordon.
We've also got some informal reports that AJ has been putting up some real respectable results down near his new home in MD.
